Software Engineer, Java
Do you want to build solutions that hunt down bad guys and put them out of business? Do you have experience building complex systems in Java? Do you dream of planting a binary tree and eating on a hash table? If so, Anchor Intelligence has the job for you.
We're looking for engineers at all experience levels who want to help build a massive data processing and modeling pipeline, using cutting-edge machine learning and network forensics. You'll be writing code that will make real-time decisions to prevent click fraud, and you'll have a fire hose of data coming at you.
This particular job comes with as much responsibility as you can handle. You won't just be writing code; you'll be doing design, architecture, implementation, testing, support, and more. Passion, talent, and raw brains are more important than tons of industry experience.
Required Experience:
- 3-5 years of software development in Java (top-notch C++ and C# engineers can apply, too)
- Superb understanding of data structures and algorithms
- Effective communication skills, as you'll need to communicate fluently with modelers, analysts, and hackers, as well as business-focused people
- Experience with Unix/Linux, and relational databases such as MySQL or Oracle
- BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent
Desirable Experience:
- Machine learning, information retrieval, TCP/IP internals
- Java frameworks: Hibernate, Servlets, Jakarta Commons

Senior Scientist
Are you interested in building predictive models to identify suspicious behavior online? Do you want to work on a large-scale solution that will change the face of online advertising? If so, Anchor Intelligence has the job for you.
We're looking to hire senior scientists to develop the core models that will serve as the foundation for our click quality solutions. You'll be working alongside industry-leading scientists with practical experience in building game-changing models for the credit, online payment, and financial services industries.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze data and develop data mining models for detecting various low-quality online traffic patterns
- Develop models that are scalable, extensible, and based on reliable algorithms
- Develop test cases for quality assurance of the models before production implementation
- Candidate must have the ability to communicate complex scientific ideas efficiently to peers as well as to non-technical audiences; must be able to apply modeling techniques to real world business applications
- A proven track record for writing, communicating and generating team feedback on complex technical specification documents is also desirable
Experience:
- PhD in Machine Learning, Statistical Pattern Recognition and other related fields is desired; MS candidates with strong related work experience will be considered as well
- Strong statistical background is a plus
- Significant experience (more than 5 years) of implementing data-mining models in real world applications; strong skills with computational algorithms and proven track record for working with very large volumes of data
- Must have extensive expertise in relational databases, preferably MySQL
- Knowledge of scientific computational software packages is a must
- Software development, implementation and design experience is a plus
- Good knowledge and experience in analyzing web-server log data is a plus

Product Manager

Responsibilities:
- Define and manage the roadmap for several Anchor products by working closely with various stakeholders such as engineering, business owners, and the executive team; align product strategy with company goals
- Develop a strong point of view on product priorities and scope; communicate customer requirements to drive product development and feature decisions; adopt sense of ownership for the product
- Critically analyze existing features and functionality; proactively identify updates, changes and improvements
- Working closely with design and engineering, write product specs and draft UI mock ups; manage the execution of features to ensure on-time delivery; own all aspects of product definition including UI, navigation, functionality, data processing requirements, etc
- Define and determine success metrics for products
- Contribute to the investigation, prioritization and tracking of bugs
Qualifications:
- Excellent written, quantitative, and interpersonal skills; experience working directly with engineering and mathematical modelers is a bonus
- Experience working within agile/scrum development frameworks; ability to make on-the-fly decisions and tough calls to drive progress during tight milestones

Operations Engineer
Anchor Intelligence is looking for talented system administration generalists, but we don't put much stock in labels. If you consider yourself a network engineer, or a specialist looking to expand, that works too. You will be working with our engineering and operations teams to deploy and manage our click fraud-fighting data and modeling pipeline, scaling our systems as we grow.
Responsibilities:
- Specifying, purchasing, and setting up new hardware
- Designing, implementing, optimizing storage
- Evaluating, testing, and setting up OSes and development infrastructure

Product Marketing Intern

Anchor Intelligence is looking for a smart, passionate, and experienced Product Marketing Intern to develop and execute results-driven marketing strategies. You will help manage outbound messaging and positioning for a suite of complex analytical and reporting solutions. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, intellectually curious, and an expert in online advertising with direct experience working for an ad network or agency and/or managing SEM/SEO campaigns.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute marketing strategy for a highly analytical product suite
- Build and document repeatable product execution framework; support solutions sales efforts via proposal development, pitch strategy, and other collateral
- Execute outbound marketing campaigns including website updates, conference presence, PR and search engine marketing/optimization; manage and monitor progress of campaigns by developing metrics, and tracking and assessing performance
- Build and maintain calendar of events for speaking engagements, conferences, and other time sensitive corporate activities
- Write press release and marketing collateral copy
- Manage outbound pitching for PR campaigns via outreach to reporters, journalists and analysts; build out network of PR contacts
Qualifications:
- Proven expertise in online advertising and/or search marketing; ability to understand and articulate how the end to end online advertising experience works from targeting through to conversion tracking
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing plans; methodical in measuring and communicating ROI

Account Management Intern
As an Account Management Intern, you'll be developing and managing the account management operations for Anchor Intelligence. You will create the backend flow and processes required to help the Anchor team build and maintain customer relationships. This means you need to be an organized, proactive self-starter, able to multi-task and manage details in a fast-paced environment. You also need to have exceptional project management skills and experience driving a group towards a common objective.
Responsibilities:
- Create business processes for managing client relationships.
- Develop workflow for handling new customer accounts.
- Build an arsenal of frequently asked questions and responses about the Anchor Intelligence product suite.
- Support sales team with customer relationship management and outreach.
- Update training materials.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS candidate with a strong academic record from a top university; degree preferred
